AboutMy journey to become a newborn care specialist started at a young age. I began working with infants when I was in high school. Then, during my college years, my sister gave birth and I helped her with her newborn, both day and night.
Upon realizing how much I enjoyed working with babies and children, I attended nanny school. Since graduating from the C.A.P.E Center in Dallas, TX in 1987, I have been a Certified Professional Nanny. After many years as a professional nanny, I really missed being around babies. I adjusted my goals to help, support, and educate new parents of singletons, twins, and triplets who are seeking a good night's rest by applying my years of experience and training. I also work on continuing my education through classes to help keep myself current on infant care. |
Since 2011, I have worked as a Newborn Care Specialist working with families who have singletons, twins, and one family with triplets. I have attended the Alexandria School for Newborn Care Specialist Baby Basics and received a certificate of completion. The course consisted of:

Continuing Education classes I have attended are: Newborn Care Specialist and Advanced Newborn Care Specialist through the Newborn Care Solutions; and several other classes through International Nanny Conference. I can also teach Infant Massage and have taken a class on Bengkung Belly Binding.
